In today’s Information Age, the means by which information is transferred and received constantly improves and quickens. E-mail account capacities expand, the speed of Internet service nears the speed of light, and the time required to download everything from videos to pictures to software from the Web, seems to decrease daily. However, the demand for quality content and writing has never faltered. For instance, today one can “read” a book without reading it. By availing of audio books, such as The Titan’s Curse audio book, you can enjoy old-fashioned quality writing, in a modern format.

A Story Of Epic Proportions

The Titan’s Curse audio book was essentially written for a middle school readership, but could be enjoyed by people of any age! Like the previous two novels in the series, the Titan’s Curse audio book combines ancient mythology and a modern setting, with a teenager’s courageous actions. The protagonist of the series, Percy Jackson, now 14-years-older, confronts numerous objects from the natural and mythological worlds. This includes an array of gods and monsters. Annabeth, Percy’s close friend and frequent rival; and Artemis are missing. Percy embarks on a quest to thwart the Oracle’s ominous prophesy, with Grover-the-goat-boy and a band of quarrelsome assistants, accompanying him. The group must remain united in the midst of encounters with gruesome monsters and gloomy dreams. The Titan’s Curse audio book succeeds in making Greek mythology fascinating, and more importantly—encouraging teens to read.

Rick, Percy, and Edgar

Rick Riordan, author of The Titan’s Curse audio book is the author of the #1 New York Times bestselling Percy Jackson and the Olympians series. The first book in the series is entitled “The Lightning Thief,” while the second book’s title is “The Sea of Monsters.” Besides “The Titan’s Curse,” Rick Riordan has authored the best-selling Percy Jackson and the Olympians, Book one: The Lightning Thief and Percy Jackson and the Olympians, Book Two: The Sea of Monsters. He has also garnered the Shamus, the Edgar, and the Anthony for the extremely popular “Tres Navarre” series. Those are the three optimum awards presented for the mystery genre

Mythology Was Not Greek To Riordan

Rick Riordan has worked as both a teacher and a writer. According to the author of The Titan’s Curse audio book, he first thought of the concept for the first Percy Jackson and the Olympians novel, while he was teaching. At the time, he was instructing middle school students in San Francisco, California about Greek mythology. Mr. Riordan taught the subjects history and English at both private and public middle schools located in Texas and California.

The audio book has revolutionized the ageless story. Likewise, The Titan’s Curse audio book teaches the classics—with a modern twist!

The Path of Daggers Audio Book Hits a Home Run

You must give Robert Jordan a great deal of credit for the energy he has infused into the fantasy genre. At one time, the fantasy genre had been THE genre to look towards for new and unique subject matter presented in a creative manner. This is what made the fantasy genre a wildly popular genre that has grown a fan base of many millions of people. (This is even more impressive considering that newspaper book reviews often do not spend much space on the fantasy genre) However, there has been great harm brought on to the genre thanks to over saturation.

That is, many, many low quality books flooded the market place and this hurt the appeal of the genre with “swing” purchasers who may not be hardcore fans of the genre. With the release of The Path of Daggers, Jordan’s eighth book in his Wheel of Time series, the fantasy genre is at its finest as this amazing tale of magic and swordsmanship will prove truly enjoyable to those who love this sort of fiction.

The Path of Daggers Audio Book Version

For those who enjoy reading The Path of Daggers, there is another way to enjoy the novel and that is the audio version. No, this does not mean that you should have someone read the book to you (although that would be nice as well!); instead, it refers to purchasing and listening to The Path of Daggers audio book version that is available at an affordable price and with audio production values that make The Path of Daggers audio book an enjoyable and entertaining product.

What is excellent about The Path of Daggers audio book is that it is not a dry or boorish reading of the material. Instead, it is an invigorating read that can completely captivate the listener in the same manner that the novel can captivate a reader. Needless to say, this makes the audio book a must have for fans of Jordan and the fantasy genre in general.

Caveat Emptor - The Path of Daggers Audio Book Version

If there was one negative it would be the fact that the audio book version of the novel is abridged. That is, this is not a complete and uncut reading of the novel, but an edited (for time, not content) version, However, none of the major plot points are excised so the story can still be followed rather easily. If you do want the entire story, you need to read the original. Actually, purchasing both version of The Path of Daggers is not a bad idea!

The Information Age is dead. We stand at the beginning of a new era. We used to live in the Information Age, but you know how it goes when everyone jumps into the pool. Too much of a good thing became a bad thing. I know you understand it. We both know that everyone is glutted with more information than we know what to do with. You surf the web and there is page after page of information, right? But how do you decide what will help solve your problems? How do you get what you need—quickly?

We used to want information, but now we want something better. That is why we are at the dawn of a new age. The Recommendation Age. People don’t want information. They want solutions to their problems, and that means they need information filtered through the understanding of someone who has gone before them. And that’s going to be YOU! You will write your book and become a famous expert in your area.

In his book, The Long Tail, Chris Anderson wrote about the dawning of this new age. He said that what people want is not more information, but a trusted filter who can give context to the content.

Your passion and life experiences and give you the natural skills to make recommendations to others. It’s human nature. You do it all the time in small ways. Think about it. Haven’t you ever told a friend—or even a stranger—to steer clear of a product that didn’tt live up to expectations? Haven’t you ever suggested a tasty dish at a restaurant, or told a friend why she would absolutely love a movie you just saw?

I know you have. We all do this. That’s the power of Recommendation Marketing. It’s time to profit from a natural human tendency. Since four out of five people want to write a book, chances are excellent that you have always dreamed of telling your own tale and leaving your own legacy.

It’s time for YOU to write your book and become an expert millionaire.

Where do people go when they have a problem? The Internet. This is where you should start. Get your book online.

But the greatest asset has also become the greatest annoyance. Today we are drowning in information. We are over-communicated to.

What will you recommend? How will YOU solve other people’s problems. The type of writing that sells the best on the internet is non-fiction. People want help solving their challenges.

What problems will YOU solve for people? Look to your own life. What do you do naturally that other people struggle with? What challenges have you overcome?

The information age is dead. We’re drowning in information. What people want now is for an expert to recommend a solution. The Recommendation Age is here. Take your place as an expert and cash in on the Recommendation Age by writing YOUR book—starting now!
